Where does FilmFlux get my movies from?
All movies on FilmFlux are sourced directly from YouTube using the official YouTube API. We only feature public content that's already on your channel — nothing private or unlisted is added.
Do I still get the views and watch time?
Yes. Every movie on FilmFlux links directly to your YouTube video. All views, watch time, and ad revenue stay 100% with you.
Are you monetizing my movies?
No. We don't host or sell your videos. Our goal is to help more people discover Nollywood and African movies — and drive more viewers to your channel.
Why is a certain movie showing instead of my newest one?
FilmFlux curates different sections based on popularity, recency, and viewer trends. This means sometimes older movies with strong engagement may be featured alongside newer uploads. We refresh sections regularly to keep things fair and dynamic.
Can I choose which of my movies appear?
At the moment, selection is automated for fairness and variety across all creators. In the future, we may introduce a Creator Portal where you can suggest or prioritize movies.
Can I get stats on how FilmFlux is helping my channel?
We're working on a creator insights feature to show how many views FilmFlux drives to your videos. For now, you can check your YouTube Analytics for traffic from "filmflux.app" in the external referral sources.
What if I don't want my movies on FilmFlux?
We completely respect that. If you'd like your movies removed, simply email us and we'll take them down immediately.
Can I promote my FilmFlux creator page?
Absolutely. Every creator on FilmFlux gets their own page showcasing their movies. You can share this page with your audience as another way for fans to explore your work.
Do you edit or change my videos?
No. All videos play directly on YouTube exactly as you uploaded them. We never alter the video, title, description, or thumbnail.
Why am I seeing old content get new views?
One of the benefits of FilmFlux is that it surfaces hidden gems from your catalog. This often revives interest in older movies, leading to new comments, likes, and subscribers.
Do you earn money from affiliate links?
Yes. Some outbound links, such as Amazon Prime links, are affiliate links and may earn FilmFlux a small commission. This does not change how we pick or rank films, and creators are never charged for being featured.
