• - When you sign in with Apple (iOS only), we receive a unique Apple identifier and the email address you choose to share. If you select "Hide My Email", Apple provides a private relay address instead of your real email
• - We store this information to create and maintain your FilmFlux account

Activity data:

• - Movies you add to your watchlist
• - Reactions you leave on movies (likes, dislikes, bookmarks)
• - Search queries and browsing activity

Information collected automatically:

• - Device information (browser type, operating system, device model)
• - Usage data (pages visited, time spent, click patterns, video views)
• - IP address and general location information (country/region)
• - Cookies and similar tracking technologies
• - App install source and push notification tokens (mobile apps)

2. How We Use Your Information

• - Provide and improve our Service, including personalised recommendations
• - Sync your watchlist and preferences across devices
• - Generate trending and popular content lists based on aggregate usage

4. Third-Party Services

• - YouTube: Videos are embedded from YouTube. YouTube's privacy policy applies when you interact with embedded video players

This information may be used to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

6. Mobile Applications

FilmFlux is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Our mobile apps may collect device identifiers, push notification tokens, and app usage analytics. Push notifications can be disabled at any time through your device settings.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Account Deletion & Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time directly from within the app or website — no email request required.

How to delete your account:

• - Sign in to FilmFlux on the web or mobile app
• - Go to your Profile page
• - Tap "Delete account", or visit filmflux.app/account/delete directly
• - Type the confirmation phrase to permanently remove your account

What gets deleted: your profile, name, email, ratings, reviews, watchlist, recently-viewed history, notification preferences, device tokens, watch progress, viewing streaks, and any creator/studio data linked to your account.

What may be retained: aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained for up to 24 months as required for service performance and legal obligations. 9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• - Access the personal information we hold about you
• - Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• - Request deletion of your personal information

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
